Nursery School
Introduction
Nursery School at J-RICH uses play, language and exploration to build strong foundations for Primary — warmly, professionally and with purpose. The nursery years are an important stage in a child's development. They are the years when children begin to understand the routines of school, interact with others and discover the excitement of learning. At J-RICH Nursery School, we provide a supportive environment where children can explore, create, communicate and develop the foundations they need for primary education.
Learning Through Exploration
Young children are naturally curious. Our nursery environment encourages children to explore their surroundings and participate in activities that make learning meaningful and enjoyable. Through age-appropriate experiences, pupils can develop their: Language and communication Early numeracy Creativity Social skills Motor skills Confidence Independence Ability to follow instructions
Play, Creativity and Discovery
Children learn in different ways. Play, creative activities, practical experiences and classroom interaction can help children understand new ideas while developing their imagination and confidence. Our nursery programme aims to make learning an active experience rather than something children simply observe.
Preparing for Primary School
Nursery education provides an important bridge between early childhood and formal primary education. At J-RICH, we aim to help children gradually develop the habits and confidence required for the next stage of their educational journey. Children are encouraged to: Listen and participate Communicate their ideas Work alongside others Follow routines Take responsibility for simple tasks Develop greater independence
A Positive First School Experience
A child's first experiences of school can influence how they feel about learning for years to come. Our goal is to help children associate school with discovery, encouragement and positive experiences. Help Your Child Begin with Confidence Discover nursery education at J-RICH.

English is the language of school life. Children are encouraged to listen, speak and grow in confidence every day.
Preparing for Primary School
Nursery builds the habits Primary will need: curiosity, stamina for a school day, and a first academic foundation.
Learning environment
Rooms are arranged for young learners — for circle time, play, and the small group work that helps children settle.
